Join TEAM CHEAM!  We are looking for a chiropractor to join our collaborative team.  We’re seeking practitioners who have a desire to help a high volume of patients and to work closely with RMTs, Kinesiologists and Acupuncturists. Our interdisciplinary clinic is seeking someone who is positive, dynamic, wellness focused, and interested in building or moving their practice to a vibrant team environment with like minded professionals.

 

We are looking for someone who will connect and relate well with our staff and who appreciates and likes our philosophy. Someone who wants to be part of a team and is motivated to build their practice. The clinic currently has three RCCs, two Naturopathic Doctors, two RMTs, two Chiropractors, a Physiotherapist (pelvic floor function), a Kinesiologist and two Registered Acupuncturists. Our current RCCs are at full capacity yet we still have a list of clients seeking care. We’re looking for someone who can fill this need.

Mandatory Characteristics:

• Strong interest in family centered care and has experience working with children and families

• Holds a current valid license to practice in BC. Must be RCC

• Motivated by evidence based practice

• Demonstrated strength and success in establishing and maintaining client relations

• Prior experience and post graduate courses with interest in women’s mental health are essential

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively

TEAM CHEAM is looking for a Massage Therapist who focuses on treating and preventing physical problems, injuries, and pain in soft muscle tissue. The main duties and responsibilities would include assessing a patient’s soft tissue, manipulating soft tissue to provide relief from pain, and improving the patient’s mobility through manipulation that improves circulation.

 

Responsibilities would also include helping patients recover from injuries or deal with chronic pain. We have a high number of ICBC patients who come for treatments weekly. Some of the main duties and responsibilities of a Massage Therapist include:

• Keeping excellent records of patient health and treatment options

• Explain the causes of pain to each patient clearly and properly explain how to complete strengthening exercises at home

• Increase a patient’s range of motion

• Work with or contact other health care providers as needed to ensure the patient receives the best quality care
