Ada's Message

As a counsellor my main role is to create a safe space to support

individuals to explore their resiliency, reclaim and find their innate strength.

I have been working in the mental health field for a little over ten years now, working with children, youth, families, and individuals focusing on anxiety, depression, trauma and addiction.

I have a Masters of Clinical Social Work from Walla Walla University and a Bachelor of Arts in Child And Youth Care Counselling. I have received training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness-Based Exposure Response prevention, San’ Yas Indigenous Cultural training and the Gottman Institute for couples therapy.

I believe in connection, empathy and collaboration. Through my work I strive to create a space that allows for healing of generational, unhelpful thoughts and behaviours. As a therapist I will offer culturally and trauma responsive support in your healing journey.
